THE AGNETHA INTERVIEWS 2004 DVD

DVD with all three of Agnetha's 2004 interviews, the "Agnetha" documentary with Lotta Brome (Has its own incorporated subtitles), the "Ekero" Ranch short interview and the full 40 minute TV4 interview shown December 2004, this interview has English subtitles added by myself, verified by a Swedish speaking person to ensure accuracy. For the TV4 Interview & Ekero Ranch Interview, you can remove the subtitles if you wish using your DVD controller and watch subtitle free, or add them back in at any point. (For PAL version), the NTSC version has the subtitles embedded (not removable).

Each section has its own menu to select from with a rare Agnetha music track playing. Comes in a lovely DVD Box case for ideal presentation.

Here you can see "The Last Time" extended Mendelsohn Remix video.




I used the video for the song, but as the video and the 12" extended version are different lengths and of course different instrumentation, I had to do a lot of editing to make the video fit the "dance mix". ENJOY!

Agnetha Fältskog LET IT SHINE EXTENDED 12" VIDEO REMIX

Here is a new video I have done for Let It Shine, This is my favourite 12" version from her "I Stand Alone" album from the 80's.



The video is taken from the 7" single release, edited to fit the 12" club version, sound was equalised, some parts of "I Wasn't The One" video inserted at the beginning, the 12" "break" is inserted with edited clips from various parts of the video and a still picture of Agnetha in her "krimped" hair style look at the abrupt ending. The video lasts 5 mins and 19 seconds.

PLAYING TIP: Allow the video to load at least half way with the red slider moved across to over 50% or the video will stop playing, this is because the YouTube settings cannot keep up with the High Definition settings used for the video. I added the video at highest possible settings so you can see & hear the full effect of the video. Another tip is to click the video then click on pause and wait for the red slider to move along enough for the video to play. playing catch up. Once fully loaded it can be played once more as long as you remain in this browser.

FRIDA - SHINE 12" EXTENDED MIX VIDEO

A full version of the 12" version of Shine, using the 7" video version with "inserted" parts to match the audio of the 12" single. Hours of work and I think it turned out very well indeed! ENJOY!

Comes in cardboard CD single style wallet which can go alongside your CD, the DVD has an interactive moving image musical menu where you can "play all tracks" or select them individually.

DANCING QUEEN WITH THE FAMOUS LOST LYRIC CORRECTLY AND SEAMLESSLY ADDED IN CORRECT PART OF THE SONG!

An example of a clip on REVISITED 3 DVD: Dancing Queen "Lost Lyric" video.

Here it is in an edited shorter form, but shows how the "lost lyric" has been insterted into the video by me using very complicated and sometimes truly difficult techniques!

As the inserted lyric was in mono, I had to use a "sample loop" taken from the opening bars of the stereo song and under lay the "sample" under the insterted mono to make the whole clip sound the same, giving the "shimmy shimmy" effect throughout the song.

Although not perfect, this was added to retain a stereo effect under the mono insert. If this was left out, the complete song would be subject to "stereo drop out" where the interted part is used, so it was a trade off.

As you see and hear, this may well be the closest we ever get to seeing or hearing this classic ABBA song in a full form, which alas was never released on CD or video! So treat yourself to REVISITED 3, One Night In Bangkok video with Benny, Bjorn & Frida on backing! The Take A Chance On Me Star Parade edit with a shortened version of the song and "cold ending"! The Voulez-Vous from Spain where the girls are wearing those slinky lycra numbers! REVISITED 3 also has a snippet of the rare "Money Money Money" cartoon, which again, is not available anywhere else! All in glorious dolby digital stereo!

ABBA IN SWITZERLAND-NOW TWO VERSIONS AVAILABLE

ABBA IN SWITZERLAND DVD

Now, two versions available, the DVD with both mono AND stereo soundtracks or a version with higher picture settings of 9586 kbps with stereo soundtrack only, the mono removed. New updated DVDs now have a bonus Chiquitita video track from "Snowtime". ABBA in a Swiss coffee shop sat at a table.

The VIDEO CLIP above is a "Blended" video made up of the original "early version" ABBA performed on ABBA In Switzerland. If you listen carefully, you can hear the original mono mix under laid with a stereo "remix", blended together for some fun. (Not on the DVD), loaded here just for fun.

The DVD features the 1979 show in full, with two completely independent soundtracks. All music on one soundtrack is now stereo with the mono original soundtrack retained on the second separate soundtrack if one prefers to listen in 1979 mode!!

ABBA, Kate Bush and Roxy Music songs can now be fully appreciated in stereo. The only remaining mono segments on this brand new soundtrack, are the opening dancers and any spoken parts during the show.

The DVD plays the new stereo soundtrack as "default" on first playing the DVD, however, if you wish to switch over to the originally transmitted mono sound, you can do so by using your DVD controller. Stereo sound is set to Audio 1/2 level and the mono sound is set to 2/2 level. The show is fully chaptered at relevant start points to all the songs. Also added is a bonus slide show using a "Does Your Mother Know" DJ remix as soundtrack and many, many lovely pictures taken of ABBA during the shooting of the show in Leysin Switzerland.

ABBA IN POLAND , the whole show from when Benny, Bjorn and Frida fly out to Poland to meet Agnetha right until their departure from Poland. Why was this show not included on "DeLuxe Arrival"? It seems so perfect for inclusion of the recent DVD release!

CLARIFICATION OF STATUS OF SOUNDTRACK FROM COMMENTS RECEIVED REGARDING MONO TO STEREO SOUND:

As this show contains all music performed to "live playback", ie: The group lip synched to the studio version of the songs, the mono sound only remains for any spoken parts, applause etc, when a song begins it is overdubbed by stereo, the mono then fades away to leave a 100% stereo rendition of the song, and at the end once again overlaps from stereo to mono applause.

I had two source tapes of the show, one with excellent picture but awful sound, the other with good sound and awful picture, so I have taken the best of both and married them together to get excellent sound and picture (with absolutely NO TV Station ID in corner of the screen.

The stereo soundtrack overlaps from mono applause and spoken word to the digital stereo surround music, therefore seeming seamless. A technique I used extensively on the REVISITED DVDs etc (Listed below this entry). The results are lovely!

I have also added a "First Play" slide show, this plays first when inserting the DVD into the player, some nice "Arrival" period pictures to the soundtrack of "Arrival", then the DVD goes to another menu screen where you can select to play the ABBA In Poland show in its entirity.




I also added chapter points at the relevant starts of each song performed. At the end the show ends with "Arrival" so rather than fade this out when the credits end, I continued with a few more pictures like a slideshow again to end the track at the correct ending place. Therefore the show runs for approximately 48 or 49 minutes.

AGNETHA FÄLTSKOG - CAN'T SHAKE LOOSE LATE LATE BREAKFAST SHOW 1983 WITH GOLDEN EGG BLOOPERS!

A very funny clip from my own video collection. Recorded in Betamax video (remember that!?), transferred to VHS in the late 80's, restored and transferred to DVD and included on REVISITED 1 in full. Here the clip is in a shortened version (to maintain YouTube upload constraints). Playing Tip: Click load, wait a little for the red slider to move fully to the right, or stop the slider and nudge back and click pause until loaded fully.



As you will notice, a small part of the video is damaged due to storage on Betamax video, but I restored what I could and added a stereo soundtrack for the song. The full version, caption free is on REVISITED 1.

PLAYING TIP: Let the clip load by allowing the red slider to load fully. If it begins before loading fully, stop the play and allow the red slider to move completely to the right, then click play.

When interting the DVD, after the initial "welcome" first play video, you go to the on screen menus. From here you can select what you wish to do. Either click the main default arrow and then go into "play all tracks" mode, or click the other buttons and highlight the track you wish to play, once that track is finished the DVD goes back to the menu you selected from initially.

If you have a stereo TV system, you can change settings to change the stereo sound options, you can select Dolby Digital sound or "simulated" sound. The DVDs support these functions.

ABBA REVISITED 3-HOW IT LOOKS OUT OF THE BOX

TAKE A CHANCE ON ME "STAR PARADE" STEREO EDIT WITH COLD ENDING!

This never available mix is now stereo on this video. The mono sound was "emulated" thus stereo now at the correct points. It is edited towards the end, making the song shorter for "Star Parade" with a "cold ending" performed, the version is not available anywhere in stereo, so here it is now in stereo!

ABBA REVISITED 2 - The second of three REVISITED DVDs. This project required 2 DVDs for all the high quality material to fit! So two menus are on one disc with 12 titles, disc 2 has the other 12 clips. Again, all tracks are now full digital quality stereo sound.

Each of the DVDs comes with an accompanying booklet with dates the clips were shown, anecdotes and memories regarding the clips.

Above is the Agnetha Definitive Video Colection DVD We ABBA fans yearn for a DVD of Agnetha's 80's clips, to date none is planned, rumours abound about me in talks with certain record companies, that I am compiling a DVD with them, to date, no offer or negotiations have been entered into.

Therefore this is as close as we may get for now to an Agnetha DVD.

It has 20 of her 80's clips (My Love, My Life) sung solo is from 1976, all the others cover Agnetha's solo career in the 1980's.

THE BEST OF ABBA/BANDSTAND DVD

Fully interactive DVD with the 40 minute special ABBA recorded in 1976 at Channel 9 Australia. This footage was lost in the archives and recently rediscovered. I took the show, boosted any mono spoken parts, removed the old mono sound and added stereo to the music. It all runs and overlaps correctly, therefore the show is revived and enjoyable on 21st century equipment.

An interesting feature is the beginning of the show which I left "As is", this is the TV production "countdown" from 10 to 1 and the producers vocally time stamping the show for posterity.

THE AGNETHA DELUXE EDITION 2 DVD/1CD BOXED SET

This boxed set was made in 2004 to celebrate Agnetha's return to the studio. The videos from "My Colouring Book" are used here, they are A1 master pristine picture/sound quality. A fun DVD accompanies the set of remixed video versions of those tracks, so enjoy the videos with a club beat! Also included is a colour booklet, and a 70 minute CD of remixed "My Colouring Book" tracks.

The set was updated in September 2006 to add two new tracks as bonuses, the Norwegian TV advert for the album, and the rare and exclusive to this box set "If I Thought Yo'd Ever Change Your Mind" pink tinted video using the BuZzBoi DJ remix as soundtrack. Also on the main DVD after the "My Colouring Book" videos are some of Agnetha's videos from the 1980's, all re-encoded to add stereo sound.

This unauthorised Channel 4 programme interviews the Dutch stalker (just see how mad he really is), and many of Agnetha's "so called" friends. Interesting to view although I do not completely agree with the portrayal of our lovely Agnetha.
