THE BEST OF ABBA/BANDSTAND DVD
Fully interactive DVD with the 40 minute special ABBA recorded in 1976 at Channel 9 Australia. This footage was lost in the archives and recently rediscovered. I took the show, boosted any mono spoken parts, removed the old mono sound and added stereo to the music. It all runs and overlaps correctly, therefore the show is revived and enjoyable on 21st century equipment.
An interesting feature is the beginning of the show which I left "As is", this is the TV production "countdown" from 10 to 1 and the producers vocally time stamping the show for posterity.

This DVD looks and sounds absolutely stunning. If you're a fan of early TV performances this one can't be beaten. Highly recommended. cheers Diego!!! Paul
Excellent sound and picture!
It is the original TV-broadcasting-version, which is available nowhere else.
Therefore "Dancing Queen", which was recorded in the same session, but only used in the "Japan Special" is not included here.
But never mind ..
